State license roster shows Think Higher Caregiving and a dozen operators inactive as of Sept. 9, signaling potential compliance or administrative turnover in Montana's market.
FILE — closure · Ivan Radic / CC BY 2.0Think Higher Caregiving, LLC (152 Shepherd Trail #8) is no longer active in Montana, according to the state license roster updated Sept. 9. The deactivation came alongside at least 11 other cannabis licensees losing active status the same day, including operations under Holistic Harvest Cannabis Farms, Big Mountain Botanicals, Yellowstoned Cannabis Co., and Lone Peak Caregivers.
The wave of simultaneous deactivations—spanning cultivation, manufacturing, and support operations—suggests either scheduled license expirations, batch compliance actions, or administrative processing. Think Higher Caregiving operated under at least two license types in the state, including a separate Pure Propagation license that also became inactive on Sept. 9.
Montana's adult-use market remains intact with 538 retail, 302 cultivation, and 180 manufacturing licenses still active. Watch for regulatory guidance on whether these closures reflect market consolidation, policy changes, or routine license cycle management in the state.
