The operation, which also held an active medical cannabis cultivation license, was based in Custer. The deactivation was recorded on August 6.
The closure is one of at least 12 South Dakota cannabis license deactivations logged on the same date, including multi-location operators such as the Royzzz chain (which operated in North Sioux City, Gavins Point, and Watertown) and standalone dispensaries including Dakota Dispensaries, The Flower Shop LLC, and Superior Buds. The timing and scale suggest a possible regulatory action or compliance sweep, though no official statement has been published.
