St. Gallen has launched a postal delivery pilot as part of its cannabis trial, according to MMJDaily. The move broadens the distribution model being tested across Switzerland's regulated cannabis experiments, which now includes at least three active cantonal trials—Lausanne, Zurich, and St. Gallen—each exploring different sales and delivery mechanisms.

The postal delivery option suggests Swiss regulators are testing logistical pathways that may reduce in-person retail friction while maintaining oversight. Lausanne's earlier pilot reported a 20% reduction in consumption, while Zurich extended its trial through October 2028, indicating sustained interest in controlled-market evidence. St. Gallen's addition of mail delivery could provide data on whether non-in-store channels affect consumption patterns or regulatory compliance.
